If you're looking for tire repair, turn off South Terrell Street in Midland to Pete's. I don't know if Re-Pete is his other brother Daryl or indicative of the quality of repair.

cool place

A "cool place" to hang out in Midland, Texas is the Cats Bar -- although the only air conditioning may be the swamp cooler. I can't attest to the clientele having only visited the exterior on a Sunday morning, but it is located on the east side of the tracks.
